Catholic Charities Tournament 2023
Hello Los Gatos Bocce Club,
Here are some photos from last night’s tournament. Congratulations to our very own LGBC members Duino Giordano and Scott Holt who anchored the winning team “Amici di Aldo.” The team’s name translates to “Friends of Aldo” in memory of Duino’s brother Aldo Giordano. Aldo must have had a hand in the victory too!
Annual BBQ Steak Dinner
2023 annual steak dinner was a hit. As normal, the camaraderie and fellowship was awesome, and stories of old and new all came out. We had a moment of silence for the fellas playing bocce in heaven, we broke bread and enjoyed each other’s company.

A few of us travelled to Scotts Valley for the 19th almost annual Over The Hill Tournament last Friday. Despite a valiant effort, the Scotts Valley men and women managed to eke out a victory. We were even on games until the fifth game but games do not count. We use a total point format to remove some of the competitiveness and promote a more friendly atmosphere. Scotts Valley did a great job hosting and put on a great event. We will be hosting next year. Here are some photos of the wonderful event.
